Here’s our print setting and hardware for a guide, you can tweak it according to your 3D printer.

PLA

Nozzle: 210°c for the first layer, 200°c thoughout the rest

Heated bed: 60°c (we are using borosilicate glass bed and printing sheet)

Printing speed: 50mm/s generally, around 25mm/s outer wall

Cooling fan: 1st layer 0%, 2nd layer 50%, 3rd layer 80% (we upgraded our cooling fan to a radial fan)

PETG

Q: How's your filament quality?

A: We only get PLA directly from manufacturer who using good PLA pallets and produce good quality of filament.

We will test the filament from the manufacturer, to make sure the quality is good before importing product from them.

We also using the same filament on our 3D printing services, customers like it.

Reviews are very good from customer who purcahsed our filaments, so far in 5 years we only received 3 cases of filament quality issue.

Case 1 we replaced the filament. Case 2 we offer to check and replace, but no reply it’s same colour filament with the case 1. Case 3 is proven it caused by the customer print setting issue.

Q: How to keep the filament?

A: When you are not using the filament, we suggest you to keep it inside a good ziplock bag, what we using in our office are bought from Daiso. We also have a dehumidifier to control the humidity in our office at 50% plus.

Filament will absorb moisture from the air, especially the whether here are very humid, the humidity in a room with window open could be 70% or above, it’s not very good to expose the filament in such high humidity enviroment. A moistured filament could affect the print result.

Q: The filament can't print well, how do I get exchange or refund?

A: For a newly open filament, if you think the quality is bad plesae contact us and send us some photo of the issue. Let us know your print setting.

Printing Speed:

Nozzle temperature:

Bed temperature:

Most of the time bad print could be due to incorrect print setting, or 3D Printer hardware issue. We will try to asssit you from there.

If you insist it’s the filamnet issue, you can send back the filament to our office personally or by courier (shipping fee to be paid by customer). We will do a test print with the filament.

1) If same issue happen to our test print, and shows that the filament is having bad quality, we will send a new spool of filament to the customer, shipping fee on us.

2) If the filament printed good with out printer, customer will have to collect it from our office.

Q: I print with the same setting on previous PLA, why yours not printed properly?

A: Different manufacturer using different PLA pallets and percentage, therefore printing temperature will be different. Please follow our suggested printing temperature and printing speed, you should able to have good print result.
